An exhibition of prints, drawings and artist’s books by internationally renowned printmaker, Petr Herel. Originally from the Czech Republic, Petr has exhibited extensively in Australia and in Europe for the past 20 years and is currently a Visiting Fellow with the Australian National University.
Visiting Western Australia for the first time, Petr will be in residence at the Bunbury campus of Edith Cowan University during October and conduct workshops in the Margaret River Region and at the Holmes à Court Gallery.
A limited selection of his books and prints will be available for sale through the Gallery. An illustrated catalogue will accompany the exhibition, including an essay by Dr Anna Gray, Head, Australian Painting, Australian National Gallery.
A special limited edition print (produced at South West Editions, Edith Cowan University, Bunbury Campus) will be offered with a small number of the catalogues.
