In the 1960s Minimalism was seen as a means to cast off all pretensions to expression and illusion by artists such as Carl Andre and Robert Morris. The works in this exhibition are by Australian artists who have explored concepts of the minimal in their art as part of their broader practice.
Artists include: Robert Hunter, Janenne Eaton, Margery Edwards, Michael Johnson, Rosslynd Piggot, Howard Taylor and Brian McKay.
