This exhibition presents some of the stories of a special family of artists who belong to country in the south-west of WA. The stories are many and complex and reveal histories tragic and triumphant. The artist-in-residence element will enable visitors to connect with family members – Sandra Hill, Chris Pease, Ben Pushman and Tracie Pushman to consider their artworks and writings and reflect on the stories told.
Included in the exhibition will be works from the Janet Holmes à Court Collection, works from the artists’ collections, and family ephemera – objects and documentation.
