A feast of visual art, music and exotic food, a festical of the senses, providing a glimpse into the heady mix of Ecuador’s classic and modern culture.
Ecuadorian artists Gilberto Almeida Egas and Estuardo Maldonado, their work ranges from the abstract to the pictorial and draws on pre Columbian art and Inca mysticism. Adding to the spectacle of colour were the fine flavours of Andean cuisine, prepared by Ecuadorian chef David Ramos with Lamont’s East Perth.
During the Festival period, special events took place at the Holmes à Court Gallery, Sheraton Perth Hotel and Vasse Felix Winery in the Margaret River Region.
