To celebrate the launch of the biography, The Solitary Watcher, Rick Amor and his Art by Gary Catalano, the Holmes à Court Gallery and Niagara Galleries, Melbourne collaborated to bring an exhibition of recent paintings by Rick Amor to Perth. The exhibition provided West Australian art lovers with a unique opportunity to view and purchase new works by one of Australia’s most distinguished artists.
Within the streetscapes, docklands and industrial hinterlands, Rick has found an uneasy beauty and poetry, and his urban landscapes and interiors resonate with a sense of narrative. In a career spanning thirty years, Amor has consistently produced work of outstanding quality across all media, featuring in major collections nationally.
