Born in Sydney in 1939, Brett Whiteley’s great natural talent for drawing, charisma and energy gained him early success and international acclaim. Twice winner of the Archibald Prize, Whiteley is one of Australia’s best known and popular artists.
Featuring a selection of works from some of the key themes throughout Whiteley’s career, the exhibition includes images of the artist’s muse in his studio. evocative landscapes, birds and animals, abstractions, portraiture and of course iconic views of Sydney Harbour.
